Constella Festival, MainStrasse Village Association and PAR-Projects will present “Brass Meets Bronze” in the heart of MainStrasse Village starting Friday, June 7th, to highlight each group’s desire to engage the public in new creative ways.
Similarly to their annual wine festival, MainStrasse Village association will be transforming their main island (behind the Goose Girl Fountain) into an intimate, outdoor venue by spanning the area with a continuous row of high-top tents, floating tables throughout the space and providing the public with a cash bar.
Adding to the three day event, Constella Festival will boost each night’s energy with a carefully selected group of LIVE musicians. Both nights will feature guest performances and each night will be complimented by light bites and libations.
The third and final element of this event highlights an array of both figurative and abstract bronze sculptures from artists throughout the region, curated by Cincinnati-based arts organization, PAR-Projects. Some of the notable artist involved include Michael Everett (Cincinnati/DAAP), John Leon (Cincinnati), Margot Gotoff (Cincinnati), Ben Lock (Bowling Green) and Robert Moore (Morgantown, WV). But in the end, the combination of LIVE music, fine arts and a memorable atmosphere is what PAR-Projects would like each and every guest to remember and hold on to.
In addition to providing creative aspects for Brass Meets Bronze, both Constella Festival and PAR-Projects will be introducing their season of events to MainStrasse Village for the first time. Each year, Constella Festival transforms the month of October, by inviting internationally renown musicians to Cincinnati for an exciting and robust concert-series. While, on the other hand, PAR-Projects continuously finds innovative ways of providing the public with fine arts as they continue to raise capital to build an arts an education center for Northside, Cincinnati.
